Run Now Movement

Hump day already?! Yesss!


Have you heard of Run Now? Run Now is an organization that was created after the Boston Marathon Bombings. It is a movement to help encourage runners to keep running and reflect on the tragic events that happened on April 15, 2013 in Boston. You can join the movement by pledging to run as many miles as you can by June 5, 2013. Why June 5th? June 5, 2013 is National Running Day. All the miles pledged and donations made will go towards helping those affected on April 15, 2013.

You can show Run Now your support by purchasing a bracelet, donating to The One Fund Boston 2013 or pledging miles. You can also show your support on Twitter and facebook.


Now the question is….Will you show your support?

I know I will. I am pledging to run at least 100 miles by June 5, 2013. This may be a combination between running outside and elliptical depending on what the weather is like. I am shooting for mostly outside!

Lets go running, shall we?!
