“Heathified” Whole Wheat Banana Walnut Bread
I originally got this recipe from Live Better America and made my own small changes!
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Bake Time @ 350 degrees: 32-35 minutes
Servings: 3 mini loaves
1.5 cups whole wheat flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon cinnamon
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup olive oil
2 egg whites
2 large mashed bananas
¼ cup fat free milk
I teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup chopped walnuts
- Mix together sugar, oil, egg whites, milk, vanilla, walnuts and bananas in a large bowl. Stir in flour, salt, cinnamon, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Grease the mini loaf pans with cooking spray.
- Spoon batter into 3 mini loaves pans, and bake at 350 degrees for 32-35 minutes. (I use a tooth pick to make sure the loaves are cooked all the way through)*
- Let cool for 15-20 minutes and enjoy!! 🙂
