Bye-Bye Two-thousand and Thirteen.

Well it is officially January 1st, 2014. How did you ring in the New Year? Did you watch fireworks, follow the NYC count down, or go out and party? I hope you brought in the New Year with a smile on your face!

I wanted to do a quick recap of some of my favorite posts from two-thousand and thirteen!

Mid-way through 2013, I started a What the Bake Friday tradition. I found that baking was something that I enjoyed doing and I decided to share it with the world.PicMonkey Collage

Give me my ENERGYbits®!

September was a busy month and I have a feeling October will be even busier. Even more races. This month I have the Race for the Fishes 5k, The Fall City Half Marathon and The Rivalry Clash 10k. Also, did I mention that the half marathon and 10k are on the same weekend?! Yep. I’ll be very very tired Monday the 14th. Plus, I may do a pumpkin push or Halloween run.

Another plus to Thursdays? I work both jobs! It will be a long day, but it is worth it!

How was your September?

Any fun events planned for October?

ZBB= You Jelly?

I slept like a dead person last night. Totally needed it. Any fun stories about what happened to you on Friday the 13th? 🙂

First, have you made the Blueberry Scones yet?? I know it has only been 24 hours, but come on’ they are scrumptious!

Second, thank you for all the sweet wishes yesterday regarding the surgery. I didn’t want to mention whom was having surgery until I knew the outcome. The “Old Man” (aka dad) was the one who had surgery and everything went swimmingly. He was even able to go home the same day. 🙂

Guess what I am up to today? Going to ZAC BROWN BAND at the Gorge.

The Gorge is well a GIANT PARTY in general. If you love people watching, well the Gorge is the place to be. I’ll be seeings lots of cowboy boots, cowboy hats, lifted trucks, flags and drunk people.
